Essential Christianity

We believe that Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water to show forth, in a solemn and beautiful emblem, our faith in the crucified and risen Savior, with its effect in our death to sin and resurrection to a new life. Baptism shall not become the grounds of fellowship or requirement for church membership but the individual's responsibility and privilege before God. Parents may present their children for dedication by arranging beforehand with the pastor for such ministry. All believers who love our Lord in sincerity, whether in fellowship with the church locally or not, shall have the privilege of sharing at the Lord's Table.
